Chrystia Freeland is a name that has been making waves in Canadian politics in recent years. However, her journey to becoming the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and Minister of Finance did not begin in the political arena. Instead, her career began in the world of journalism, where she quickly rose to become one of the most respected and renowned journalists in Canada.
Fascinated by the intersection of politics and economics, Freeland spent the early years of her career as a journalist covering global economic issues for top publications such as The Financial Times and The Globe and Mail.
